General rental terms and conditions

Good agreements make good friends.

The general rental conditions apply to all transactions. Placing a reservation with Nooz means that you agree to these conditions.

1.0 General
Everything offered on our site is described in good faith. The customer cannot derive any rights from this description. Nooz cannot be held liable for accidents or incorrect use of the products and infrastructure. Nooz will request a credit card guarantee as a deposit.

2.0 Payments
We do not accept on-site payments. Only advance payments via bank transfer are accepted. When making a bank transfer, your bank details are not transferred via the internet. Instead, we will send you a confirmation by email after the payment of a gift voucher or reservation.

3.0 Prices
All prices mentioned on our site include VAT. The prices listed are per person. Any prices provided through other channels such as email, telephone, or on-site invoices are never binding. In case of any dispute, only the prices listed on www.uminooz.be are valid. Nooz cannot be held liable for incorrect prices received via email or telephone, for example. PP stands for price per person. Our experiences are unique and meant to be shared with your loved ones.

4.0 Quality Guarantees
Nooz always guarantees the following quality standards:

Perfect explanation (provided in advance via email) so that you can fully enjoy from the first second.
You, as a guest, are always our top priority because quality always takes precedence over quantity. That's why Nooz has no shop, no common areas, no advertising signs, etc., and the phone is switched off. We always operate by reservation.
You are unique. We adapt to the uniqueness and wishes of each individual customer.
Products & Infrastructure Operation
We provide a guarantee for certain products and the proper functioning of the infrastructure only when that guarantee is also provided by our suppliers and manufacturers of those products. The warranty conditions are determined by the suppliers or manufacturers.

Infrastructure Operation
The UmiNooz apartment is highly technological, and technical failures cannot be completely ruled out. Nooz guarantees the proper maintenance and regular testing of all infrastructure. Nooz cannot be held liable if certain infrastructure does not work. This can never be a reason for demanding a partial or full refund.

5.0 Opening Hours
UmiNooz is exclusively an apartment for private residence. There is no operation or exploitation at UmiNooz. We are never "open," and only the rental of the UmiNooz apartment for private residence is possible.

We operate exclusively by reservation via 014/50.20.53 or info@uminooz.be. This way, we can guarantee you, as the occupant of the UmiNooz apartment, perfect tranquility and privacy without any external disturbances. Nooz always has the right to refuse a reservation request, even if the apartment is available.

The arrival time is always agreed upon in advance and is binding so that we can always guarantee the best quality. If the customer arrives more than 15 minutes later than the agreed time, Nooz has the right to cancel the reservation and charge the full amount for the reservation made.

6.0 Reservations
What can you reserve?
It is only possible to reserve the entire UmiNooz apartment.
Nooz has the right to reject certain proposals.
Reservations are only possible for 1 to 6 persons.

How to make a reservation?
Reservations are only accepted with name, email, telephone number, reservation arrival date and time, the number of persons, and a credit card guarantee.
The UmiNooz location of Nooz is a private apartment for residence where reservations are never accepted or information provided on-site. This can only be done via the internet, email, or by phone. By making a reservation, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the general rental conditions. Reservations can be made by contacting Nooz via email at info@uminooz.be or by calling 014/50.20.53.

Reservations are accepted via email or telephone and will only be accepted if confirmed by Nooz through an order confirmation via email and when the full amount has been paid before arrival.
You can pay this amount in cash at our location in Grobbendonk or transfer it with a mention of the date you provided during your reservation to account number 001-5302846-29. Your reservation is only confirmed upon receipt of the full amount.
With a reservation, we will always charge the number of people you specified during the reservation.
It is strictly forbidden for more people to enter the UmiNooz apartment than indicated during the reservation itself.

Nooz reserves the right to refuse reservations and, without additional cost or notice, assign an equivalent or more expensive Nooz experience based on availability.

7.0 Gift Vouchers
How do we proceed for the super-fast Nooz pampering voucher?

Immediately create your customized voucher via our website or email/call us with your wishes. You will receive the voucher within a few minutes via our website. Via email or phone within 24 hours (except for exceptions).
You will receive an email with the voucher as an attachment and a request to transfer the amount to our bank account.
You only need to make the payment, print the attachment, and wrap it nicely. You can also ask us to print and send it. Or you can simply come and pick it up after a phone call.
Once we receive your payment, we will activate your voucher in our system and send you a confirmation email.
You give the voucher, and the recipient makes a reservation with us.
Nooz takes care of the complete further handling and arrangements.
Ordering the voucher.
The customer has placed a formal and binding order as soon as the voucher is created. This commitment applies to every channel: voucher by email, voucher via websites, etc. Each voucher is assigned a unique code.
From this moment, the general cancellation conditions apply (see 8.0).

Value of the voucher.
The content of the voucher has no intrinsic value, and Nooz is not responsible for it. The value of the gift voucher is determined solely by its unique code and the payment amount.
Once we receive the payment for the gift voucher, you will receive an email confirming that your unique voucher code has been activated, including the value of the voucher in euros. Therefore, the value of the gift voucher is exclusively the payment amount.
This way, Nooz provides you with all the flexibility to choose another pampering package or location for your reservation, exactly as you wish.

Validity period.
Our gift vouchers are valid for 1 year. If you have a voucher that is more than 1 year old, you can exchange it at any time for 50% of its value.

Reserving with the voucher.
The gift voucher is always associated with a unique code and is only valid after receipt of payment. If no payment has been made, we do not accept reservations.
Nooz reserves the right to request proof of payment from the purchaser of the gift voucher. If the purchaser cannot provide this proof, Nooz has the right to refuse the voucher and not accept reservations.
If a valid pampering package is specified on the voucher, we guarantee this pampering package at the same price for 1 year.
If an invalid pampering package is specified on the voucher, we base our arrangements, prices, and rental conditions on those in effect at the time of reservation.
Furthermore, all other elements of the rental conditions apply, including 6.0 reservations.

Liability.
If you do not receive the order or if the order is damaged, you must notify us within 10 working days. Only then will Nooz compensate for the losses or send a new order.

8.0 Cancellation Conditions
Cancellation of a placed order for goods.
The Belgian law on commercial practices grants you the right to return an order within a period of 7 days after receiving it.
In the case of physical items, such as goods and gift vouchers, everything must be returned to Nooz, Nachtegalendreef 40, 2280 Grobbendonk (Belgium), unopened, unused, and in the original packaging. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs and bears the responsibility.
Nooz may refuse returned items if the goods are not in their original packaging, if the original packaging or the goods are damaged by the customer, or if the goods have been used.
In the case of electronic transactions, such as gift vouchers and reservations via email, you must send an email to info@nooz.be within 7 days explicitly stating the cancellation.
Once this period has expired, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the goods, and return is no longer possible.

Cancellation of services, such as a placed reservation.
  • If you do not cancel in a timely manner, which means at least 2 weeks before the reservation or on the same day, you must find someone to take your place, otherwise you will have to pay the full amount as compensation for the reservation made.
  • In case of no-show, the full amount will be charged as compensation, and you will receive the invoice.
  • If you cancel in a timely manner (more than 2 weeks in advance), the paid advances will always remain valid for making a reservation at another time. You can then use your advance payment for a new reservation within 1 year and with at least an equivalent budget. Already paid amounts will not be refunded.
  • The above-mentioned compensation also applies in the event of force majeure on the part of the customer.
  • In the event of force majeure imposed by our government, we will not charge any fees so that you can simply reschedule the same Nooz experience for another time.

10.0 Applicable Law
Belgian law applies to all our legal relationships. For disputes between us and our customers, the court of Turnhout is competent, unless another court is designated by law.
